Abacus is a flexible expense reporting system that applies intelligent automation in real time, giving companies the ability to confidently automate administrative tasks without sacrificing control. Abacus processes next-day reimbursements, enforces your expense policy, reconciles corporate cards, and syncs with your accounting software.

Each expense is individually indexed in our internal search engine in real time. As they are submitted, policy rules are applied to each expense and ones within policy automatically flow into dynamic reports, allowing finance teams to create custom approval workflows. The system will prevent out of policy expenses from being submitted. Once approved, expenses flow directly into your accounting software in either cash or accrual method.

Employees no longer experience the pain of filling out expense reports. Instead the submission process is as easy as taking a photo with their smart phone. Abacus will create the expense, auto-categorizing it based on past behavior, match it to a linked credit card transaction, and then notify the user when it is ready to be submitted. Submitting expenses is simple, fast and accurate.

Excellent customer support

Pros
Abacus is backed by a very good customer support team. They quickly attended to my support requests. Abacus has a very neat UI and submitting the receipts is a breeze.
Cons
It has very few minor glitches but nothing serious. Works well for us.
Recommendation to Others
It's the easiest tool to submit my expense and get my reimbursement quickly. I had a great experience using this software.

Pros
As a travelling person, I find the app of Abacus easy to use as I can submit the expenses on the go. I can also forward email receipts to Abacus to file it as a expense.
Cons
Abacus is a very simple software which will fit the need of small and medium companies but it wouldn't the right choice for big,enterprise companies.
Recommendation to Others
Abacus is the easiest expense management software. Abacus has an excellent customer support team. Go for it.

Quick and easy

Pros & Cons

Pros
Abacus's step by step expense submitting process is seamless and the expenses can be easily tagged with the pre-built categories. You can configure your bank account and Abacus takes care of the payout process.
Cons
I would love have feature like "Poke/Alert" to remind the management about the pending approvals ourself.
Recommendation to Others
Abacus saves a lot of my time and streamlines the expense reporting process. No more submitting expenses through email.

Intuitive expense reporting

Pros & Cons

Pros
With Abacus , the expense reporting is a breeze. I can take a photo of my receipt and submit it in the system. I get a alert when it's approved.
Cons
I can't think of any issues.
Recommendation to Others
As a admin I had to purchase many things for my office for all departments. Abacus has eased the expense reporting process.

Pros & Cons

Pros
The app is very easy to use. Using Abacus I'm able to get the expenses to my bank account in few weeks. I can take the pictures of the receipts and enter in the system easily.
Cons
The bank sync is not perfect.
Recommendation to Others
Each time I send an expense for approval my manager gets a ping and it helps him to approve it quickly. No more delays in the approval process.
